Why Stillness in the Feed

by | Jun 6, 2025 | Adventures in Growth, Conversations Around AI, Growth as a Service

Stillness in the Feed is a series about building consciously in an unconscious world. Written by Brandon Melton, Co-Founder and Growthsmith at Chief of Chaos, it’s a quiet space for honest thoughts on AI, health, leadership, and what it means to grow well. No hacks. No hype. Just signal.

In a world that rewards volume, I’m choosing quiet.

This series is called Stillness in the Feed because that’s what I’ve been seeking, personally and professionally—moments of calm in a scroll-happy world, and clarity in a culture obsessed with speed.

I’m not here to shout over the noise. I’m here to offer a different frequency.

This is a space for thoughtfulness. For reflections on building something with care. For checking in—on ourselves, our teams, and the tools we’re shaping and being shaped by. I co-founded Chief of Chaos with a deep belief that growth doesn’t have to be aggressive. It can be kind. It can be sustainable. It can be deeply human.

Stillness in the Feed will explore that idea.

You can expect:

  • Personal reflections on leading and building in the AI era
  • Wellness practices that help me stay grounded (and sane)
  • Honest thoughts on growth, responsibility, and learning in public

This isn’t thought leadership for clout. It’s storytelling for connection.

If you’re overwhelmed by advice threads and AI doomerism… if you’re trying to build with more intention… or if you’re just someone who believes that how we grow matters—then I hope this series feels like a pause worth taking.

Thanks for being here.
I’ll keep it quiet.
I’ll keep it real.
